As we head into the last couple of weeks of August, there is still plenty of action at the Niagara on the Lake Market. This Saturday August 20th will be full of local goodness, with our vendors offering up fresh Niagara fruits and veggies, baked goods, jams, jellies, pickles and preserves, artisanal items, and of course, Lakeland’s farm-fresh breakfast. While you enjoy your breakfast sandwich, drop your scissors, tools and knives off to Brian at Smooth Edge Sharpening, pull up a seat at the picnic tables, and have a listen to award-winning Cory Cruise. No better way to start off your weekend!
Unfortunately, due to the extreme heat this summer, Heart Niagara’s free CPR training session that was scheduled for Saturday August 27th has been moved from the Market site to their office. There will be two sessions to accommodate all of the participant on Thursday August 25 from 6pm-8pm, and also on Friday August 26 from 12:30p-2:30pm at Heart Niagara’s office, located at 4635B Queen Street, Niagara Falls.
