Join us this Saturday August 1st for Farmers’ Market. There is nowhere better than Niagara at this time of the year for fresh fruits and vegetables. Look forward to purchasing peaches, plums, apricots, raspberries, salad greens, fresh herbs, potatoes, green beans, beets, and much, much more. Also available, as always is fresh-baked breads, pies and desserts, jams, pickles, juices, naturally raised meat and eggs, smoked trout, wine, honey, gourmet compound butter, granola, and natural products for bath, body, and home. This week, we also have live entertainment by Tim Atherton. Market is a perfect way to start off your weekend, grab fresh fruit and veggies for the week, flowers for the table, breakfast or lunch, and some goodies for entertaining!
Welcome to The Market @ The Village
In its ninth season, the Market has become a wonderful gathering place for locals and visitors looking for genuine community and great local food. The Farmers’ Market vendors all originate from the Niagara Region, and all produce is 100% Niagara-grown, sold by the people who grow it.
In 2012, the Wednesday evening SupperMarket was added to the weekly schedule, and quickly became a weekly social gathering place for locals and visitors to enjoy a wide variety of food, local wine and beer, and live entertainment in an outdoor venue. This fun-filled, family oriented event is a must-do this summer!
