It looks like we are going to have nothing but sunshine this tomorrow, so join us for a perfect morning of meeting up with friends, enjoying a bite of breakfast, and supporting your local farmers.
Thanksgiving is two short weeks away, and Ken and Rose from Bartel Organics will again be selling their beautiful pumpkin centerpieces for your Thanksgiving table. Stop in to pre-order this Saturday; these beautiful decorations, which are priced at $30 will be ready for pick up the morning of Saturday October 12th.
For the next two Saturdays, The Market @ The Village will be holding a food drive to benefit Newark Neighbours. Please drop off your non-perishable items in the food bin under the welcome tent at Saturday morning Farmers’ Market and help to make Thanksgiving a special time for those less fortunate.
Also tomorrow, available to answer your questions will be two community groups; Red Roof Retreat, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake provides quality recreational, educational and respite services to children, youth and young adults with special needs and their families. We also welcome back the Master Gardeners group; they will be happy to answer all of your questions regarding fall yard clean up, winter preparation, and thinking towards spring.
