Lots Going on @ The Market This Week!

This Saturday July 8th, we welcome back nutritionist Meghann Reilly, as she walks participants through making pickles in the second of our monthly fermentation workshops this season.  To register, or get more info, contact Meghann directly at mriley@meghannriley.com or 289-696-1341.

Parents- mark Saturday July 15th on your calendar; we will be hosting “Kids Day @ The Market” with plenty of FREE fun-filled activities, a bouncy house, and more.

SupperMarket on Wednesday July 5th is going to be another great community event.  Locals gather to celebrate the wonderful area that we live in with local food, local wine, local beer, and local entertainment.  The wineries on the 5th are Joseph’s and Riverview.  If you purchased your GoVino glass at a prior SupperMarket, be sure to bring it with you.  GoVino glasses are available for a small charge of $2 and we encourage you to bring it back week after week, or bring your own acrylic glass from home.  Also on tap this week are local beers from Silversmith and Oast, and local cider by Ironwood.  SupperMarket on Wednesday July 5th will see the return of crowd favourite Mel Monaco; last season she wowed the audience with her amazing voice, energy, and style.  Arrive early to secure a spot of one of the colourful picnic tables, stand-up barrels, or bring your own chairs and picnic blankets to spread out on the grassy area.   Have some fun with the “Best Dressed Table” competition; stop in at the Market Tent to register (please bring a non-perishable food donation for Newark Neighbours to enter the contest) and deck you table out for a chance to win a fun picnic pack prize.  Remember that there’s plenty of parking in the lot off of Niven Road; just follow the signs.  Good friends, good food, good times.

The Market @ The Village would like to thank the following sponsors: John and Liz Hawley, Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake, DF Design Build, & The Town of Niagara on the Lake.  Without the generous support of these wonderful sponsors, this great community event would not be a possibility.
