Farmers’ Market Saturday August 5th

By August 3, 2017 News No Comments

The Saturday Farmers’ Market is bursting with colour, as we are at the height of our season here in Niagara.  Juicy plums, apricots, cherries, peaches and nectarines are in abundance, in addition to wonderfully crisp leafy vegetables, beets, beans, potatoes, and so much more.  As always, breakfast will be available from Your Farm Gate, amazing baked goods and hot coffee & tea from Sweets & Swirls, jams, pickles, and preserves, eggs, meat and fish, as well as deli meats, smoked trout from Milford Bay, and more.  We have musical entertainment this week with Cory Cruise.  Don’t forget about our Cook Book Lending Library set up every Saturday- bring a used one from home, and take a “new-to-you” one back home! Also, don’t miss out on the next “Fermented Food” workshop; on August 12th learn how to make fermented salsa.  For more information, or to sign up, please see
