Saturday morning’s Farmers’ Market is a laid back, easy way to start off your weekend. The Market is a sea of colour, with custom-made floral arrangements, and a rainbow of umbrellas in the picnic area. Whether you choose to wander while sipping on a coffee and munching a croissant, or sit to enjoy freshly made breakfast sandwich, the picnic area is a great place to catch up with old friends and enjoy the music of “TJ”. This week, our farmers will have STRAWBERRIES, asparagus and rhubarb available, along with some early greens. Know your farmer; all produce is grown on local farms; no imported bananas and oranges here at the Niagara on the Lake Market! As always, we will have amazing artisanal breads and baked goods, award-winning jams, natural granola, naturally raised meats and eggs, vegetable plants, natural skin care products, and plants for your garden- Wisteria, Hibiscus, Cannas, Grasses, and Perennials. When you purchase from The Market @ The Village, you are supporting a local farmer, producer, and your own community.
The Market @ The Village is proud to present our 2nd annual Fathers’ Day Weekend Car Show on Saturday June 18th. The Car Show will run from 10 am to 1 pm at the Market site. It is free to enter, but if car owners pre-register and make a $10 donation to Newark Neighbours, they will receive a pre-printed ID sheet and a car show dash plaque keepsake.
