Calling All Cars! The Market @ The Village is proud to present the 3rd annual Fathers’ Day Weekend car show at the Farmers’ Market this Saturday June 17th from 10am to 1 pm. There is nothing like strawberry season in Niagara. Those delicious, vitamin packed berries will be at the Farmers’ Market this Saturday, and promise to make more appearances in the weeks to come. They certainly do steal the show! Here in Niagara and at the Market, we are still enjoying local rhubarb, asparagus, lettuce, chard, and collard greens, and every week more and more farmers are joining us as their crops ripen. As always, we have naturally raised meats, eggs, jams and preserves, made-to-order floral bouquets, fresh-baked breads, pies, and desserts. The musical entertainment this week is by award-winning Cory Cruise (how fitting that he play on Car Show Day!) Remember that The Market @ The Village is a true Farmers’ Market, selling only local produce grown by our local Niagara farmers. When you buy local, you are putting money back into our community.
