For a lively community event, the Wednesday evening SupperMarket is the place to be! This Wednesday, the SupperMarket presents the NOTL Canada 150 Confederation Celebration. This travelling show has entertained audiences at various events throughout Niagara on the Lake this season, and we are we pleased to host the travelling show at the SupperMarket. In addition, on the SupperMarket stage, Mel Monaco’s fabulous energy and sound can be enjoyed by all. The NOTL Fire Department will displaying Ladder 1 and their antique fire truck tomorrow night at the SupperMarket, launching the 2018 Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment. They welcome residents of Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Davids, Virgil, Queenston, and Glendale to visit them at the SupperMarket tomorrow night for more information. Stop by to say hello to them, and let the kids check out the cool trucks!
Wines from Diamond & Coyote’s Run, beer from Silversmith and Oast, and cider from Ironwood will be ready to quench your thirst, and the Niagara Region Water Wagon will be providing free, cold drinking water. And the food……….with 20+ food vendors and trucks, you will find everything from gourmet burgers and fries to mouthwatering ethnic foods to pulled pork and brisket, many vegetarian/vegan options, and absolutely everything in between! A fun evening for the whole family; bring a picnic blanket and chairs, kick back and relax. The FREE (with a non-perishable food donation to Newark Neighbours) Kid’s Zone will be open from 6-8pm, sponsored by Niagara Inflatables, Niagara Nature Tours, and The Market @ The Village. This week’s nature activity is “Let’s Make A Volcano”- now, that sounds like FUN!! Join us to celebrate summer in Niagara every Wednesday evening 4:30 pm until 9 pm until September 20th.
