FARMERS’ MARKET NEWS FOR SATURDAY AUGUST 4th
The Saturday Farmers’ Market is bursting with colour, as we are at the height of our season here in Niagara. Juicy peaches and fresh corn are in abundance, in addition to wonderfully crisp leafy vegetables, beets, beans, potatoes, and so much more. As always, breakfast and lunch will be available, amazing baked goods and hot coffee & tea, seasonal fruit smoothies, cold brew & Kombucha, jams, pickles, and preserves, gourmet compound butter, honey, maple syrup, granola, and more. We have musical entertainment this week with Shaun Devlin. Don’t forget about our Cook Book Lending Library set up every Saturday- bring a used one from home and take a “new-to-you” one back home!
SupperMarket NEWS FOR WEDNESDAY AUGUST 8th
Join us at Niagara’s social event of the week; SupperMarket on Wednesday August 8th is going to be deliciously fun. Enjoy the live music by John & Shannon, have a pint from Silversmith or The Exchange; Ironwood will have their delicious local cider, and Marynissen & Palatine will have the perfect wine to match with your meal. Of course, our gourmet food vendors will be ready to serve their delectable dishes. Mom and Dad can enjoy time socializing with friends while the kids enjoy the free (with a non-perishable food donation to Newark Neighbours) “Kids Zone”. The activities are open weekly from 6-8pm, and are sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, and Niagara Nature Tours.
We are located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. (by the colourful picnic tables across from The Garrison House) Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 6th, and SupperMarket runs every Wednesday from 4:30 to 9pm until September 19th.
Meet You @ The Market!
THANK YOU SPONSORS!
The Market @ The Village would like to thank our sponsors John and Liz Hawley, Wineries of Niagara on the Lake, DF Design Build, The Town of Niagara on the Lake, Allstate Insurance Co St. Catharines, and Niagara on the Lake Realty. Without the generous support of our sponsors, these two great community events would not be a possibility.
