ENJOY A FUN GAME OF JENGA AT THE MERIDIAN CREDIT UNION TENT
SupperMarket on Wednesday July 10th is gearing up to be another first-class evening, with our amazingly creative food vendors, wines by Chateau des Charmes and Pondview, beer by Oast House and Newark Brewing, and cider from Ironwood. Come early to get a spot of one of the colourful picnic tables, or stand-up wine barrels, or bring your own chairs and picnic blankets to spread out on the grassy area. Local musician Katey Gatta is set to entertain us on the Shaw Festival Market Stage. Pop into the Meridian Credit Union Vendors’ MarketPlace to see what our local farmers and artisans have to offer; this is a great way to top up your weekday groceries while keeping it local. SupperMarket is fast becoming the place to celebrate summer and friends. The Kids Zone, sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, and Niagara Nature Tours will be open 6-8pm.
The Market @ The Village is continuing to accept donations of non-perishable food items for Newark Neighbours at both Wednesday SupperMarket and Saturday Farmers’ Market. SupperMarket runs every Wednesday 4:30-9pm until September 19th, and Farmers Market every Saturday 8am-1pm until October 6th.
