The Line of Vendors Waiting to Serve You On Saturdays!
More good news to share with you, Niagara on the Lake! Starting this Saturday, you will be able to grab breakfast and a beverage to take home to enjoy. Sweets & Swirls will be cooking up their “Egg Thingy” (egg sandwich on an English muffin) and serving coffee & tea and an assortment of juices. In addition to their frozen entrées, sauces, and samosas for you to take home, Moksha Indian Bistro will have iced chai tea and iced Madras coffee and other Indian inspired delicacies. From our other vendors, you will be able to purchase local ripe raspberries, eggs, organic bread, honey, maple syrup, cheese, wine, all-natural soda, bath & body products, beets, microgreens, lettuce, beans, garlic scapes, peas, new potatoes, radishes, herbs, unique gift items, and more.
This Saturday, Smooth Edge Sharpening Services will be set up to service your knives & scissors. At this time, due to sanitation concerns, Brian will not be sharpening garden tools. Stop by and meet our new vendors this week; Kiwi’s Curios and Olsen Family Farm. Kiwi’s Curios jewelry pieces are inspired from the natural world, as well as imagined worlds; especially an envisioned future of environmental conservation. Her creativity evolves continuously, and she loves to learn new techniques and work with different materials. She enjoys wirework, beadwork, polymer clay, lampwork (glass bead making), and regularly tries to incorporate found objects into mixed-media designs. Kiwi’s Curios unique pieces are sure to be a hit @ Market! Starting this week, Jennifer from the Olsen Family Farm will be a regular vendor on Saturdays, featuring 100% farm grown seasonal produce and her hand-made quilts. We are excited to have more Niagara produce available on Saturdays!
At the entrance to the Market, customers are able to purchase Limited Distillery’s hand sanitizer ($16/500ml) This stuff is great! No “funny” smell, and it dries quickly. We would like to thank our good neighbours Limited Distillery for providing Farmers’ Market with the sanitizer that our customers use prior to shopping. Also available for the purchase price of $15 are the great face shields that our staff and some of our vendors wear on Saturdays. These shields are very comfortable, can be worn for extended periods of time, and protect the entire face, in addition to allowing a better visual for lip reading and facial expression.
Thanks to the support of our sponsors John & Liz Hawley, The Wineries of Niagara on the Lake, and Limited Distillery, we bring you Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm until October 3rd.
