WHAT’S GROWING ON THIS SATURDAY?
Nothing tastes better than Local! Here in Niagara, we are still enjoying rhubarb, strawberries, asparagus, and have started to see kale, lettuce, chard, microgreens, beets, and a few other items on our farmers tables. As seasonal crops begin to ripen, more farmers are joining us as at The Market @ The Village. Bright and early every Saturday, we have farm-fresh eggs, jams and preserves, local honey, hand-tied floral bouquets, fresh-baked pastries and pies, gourmet cheese, take home frozen/refrigerated entrees and soups, breakfast and lunch to-go, and a wealth of knowledge to share with you. Support local by shopping at our Farmers’ Market!
We provide an open air, relaxed, safe, and friendly place for you to do much of your weekly shopping. We work hard to exceed your expectations. Our layout is efficient and easy to navigate, and although we are an outdoor market, face masks are mandatory for all staff, vendors, and shoppers. For the convenience of our customers, we do have an ATM onsite every Saturday; some vendors accept cash only, some card only, and some either. Shoppers are welcome to bring their own reusable bags, but must pack their own purchases. At all times, our vendors do their best to maintain the recommended 6 feet between themselves and shoppers, and we ask shoppers to be mindful of physical distancing also. When you purchase from The Market @ The Village, you are supporting a local farmer, producer, and your own community. The Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm until October 9th.
