SupperMarket NEWS FOR WEDNESDAY JULY 4th
It’s too hot to cook, so grab a bite to eat, and a cool beverage at SupperMarket this Wednesday. Locals gather to celebrate the bountiful area that we live in with local food, wine, beer, cider, and entertainment. The wineries on the 4th are Joseph’s and Riverview. For wine, GoVino glasses are available for a small charge of $2 and we encourage you to bring it back week after week, or bring your own acrylic glass from home. On tap are local beers from Silversmith and Oast, and local cider by Ironwood. SupperMarket on Wednesday July 4th will see the return of crowd favourite The Hopyards. Arrive early to secure a spot of one of the colourful picnic tables, stand-up barrels, or bring your own chairs and picnic blankets to spread out on the grassy area. The Kids’ Zone, sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, and Niagara Nature Tours will be open 6-8pm; please bring a non-perishable food donation for Newark Neighbours when enjoying these free activities. Join us every Wednesday for good friends, good food, and good times.
FARMERS’ MARKET NEWS FOR SATURDAY JULY 7th
With so many things to do in Niagara during July, don’t forget to mark the Saturday morning Farmers’ Market on your calendar. Our local farmers have their tables full of seasonal produce; what better way to celebrate Niagara’s bounty than a meal made from fresh local fruits and veggies? With baked goods, hand-tied floral bouquets, and breakfast, Saturday mornings and the Farmers’ Market go hand-in-hand. Grab a coffee, pastry, breakfast, or a smoothie pull up a seat, and take in another great morning with some live music @ The Market with Jessica Wilson. Parents- mark Saturday July 14th on your calendar; we will be hosting “Kids Day @ The Market” with plenty of FREE fun-filled activities, a bouncy house, and lots more to break up the summertime boredom.
