SupperMarket NEWS FOR WEDNESDAY AUGUST 22nd
At SupperMarket on August 22nd, popular local group Vox Violin will take the stage; this is the first time that they are performing at the SupperMarket, and we cannot wait! Small Talk and Stratus wineries, Silversmith and Oast House, and Ironwood Cider will be open for business, and with our 20+ food vendors, there’s sure to be something that you haven’t had a chance to try yet this season! There’s plenty of seating at one of our colourful picnic tables, or bring your own chairs and picnic blankets and find a spot on the grassy area. Mom and dad can enjoy time socializing while the kids enjoy the FREE Kids’ Zone (with a non-perishable food donation for Newark Neighbours) The activities are open weekly from 6-8pm, providing entertainment for young families. Kid’s Zone is sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, and Niagara Nature Tours. Ample SupperMarket parking can be found in the lot off of Niven Road. If you are in need of parking for handicapped or elderly, simply pull into the main parking lot, and our incredible parking attendant Jimi will show you to your reserved parking spot. FARMERS’ MARKET NEWS FOR SATURDAY AUGUST 25th
Only two weekends left before the kids head back to school! This Saturday, The Farmers’ Market in conjunction with the NOTL Safety Committee and St. John’s Ambulance will be holding a free Car Seat Clinic at the Farmers’ Market from 9am to 11am, just in time for back-to-school! Stop by to have your seat and installation inspected, receive safety tips, and have the peace of mind that your precious cargo is being safely transported. After your car seat inspection, do some local shopping! The Farmers’ Market is still overflowing with lovely, ripe, local fruits and veggies. Although we are small market, we have a bit of everything good that Niagara has to offer. In addition to our home-grown produce, we have jams, jellies, pickles, juices, breads, baked goods, pies, maple syrup, artisanal seasoned butter, hand-tied floral bouquets, hot coffee, and delicious breakfast and lunch options. Everything local; everything Niagara! Enjoy the warm mornings at the Market before there is an autumn nip in the air. Tim Atherton will be on stage for your enjoyment while you take time to catch up with old friends.
We are located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. (by the colourful picnic tables across from The Garrison House) Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 6th, and SupperMarket runs every Wednesday from 4:30 to 9pm until September 19th.
