MARYNISSEN ESTATES WINERY IS JOINING OUR MARKET FAMILY!
At the Market, we love this time of year; the Niagara harvest is in full swing, with raspberries, cherries, red currants, serviceberries, zucchini, snap peas, beans, potatoes, greens, microgreens, and so much more now available. Visit our local farmers this Saturday at the Market to stock up on fresh, healthy produce. We also have local honey, maple syrup, granola, gourmet compound butter, jams, pickles, baked goods and unique gift items from Wineroute Antiques available. And starting this week, for the next 5 weeks, we have WINE! Marynissen Estates Winery will be joining us on Saturday mornings, so you can pick up a bottle of great local wine to pair with your local, seasonal meals. Relax in the Niagara on the Lake Realty/ Allstate Insurance picnic area, while you catch up with friends over a coffee and a pastry, breakfast or lunch, and relax to the sounds of Buzz Hummer.
This past Saturday, many local families joined us for our annual Kids Day @ The Market. With crafts, art, games, period costumes, prizes, give-aways, treats, kid foods, and a bouncy castle, it was a fantastic day! Thank you our community partners Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre, NOTL Museum, Be Whimsi Art Loft, our amazing vendors, and Niagara Inflatables for making the day such a success!
Through the generous support of John & Liz Hawley, the Shaw Festival, Meridian Credit Union Virgil, Allstate Insurance St. Catharines, NOTL Realty, DF Design Build, Wineries of NOTL and Town of NOTL, we run Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 5th, and SupperMarket every Wednesday from 4:30 to 9pm until September 18th, located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. (by the colourful picnic tables)
