FALL IS A BOUNTIFUL TIME HERE IN NIAGARA!
With warm, sunny weather forecast for this first weekend of Autumn, stop by on Saturday morning for a coffee and breakfast or pastry, and pick up your fresh produce for the week. You will see by the farmers’ tables that September in Niagara is by far one of the best harvest months. Available for purchase are grapes, apples, pears, microgreens, herbs, beets, garlic, eggplant, zucchini, potatoes, and much, much more. Nothing tastes as good as farm to table food! Always available are a wide variety of jams and jellies, pickles, baked goods, maple syrup, local honey, and other items to make week-day meal planning a cinch. We have live music by Tim Atherton from 9am-1pm. Next Saturday September 29th, we are pleased that the Etsy: Made in Canada Niagara artisan show will be held at the Farmers’ Market; what a great opportunity to get a head-start on Christmas shopping! Farmers’ Market will run every Saturday until October 5th 8am to 1pm.
Another One for the Books- SupperMarket 2019 is Done!
Sadly, the last SupperMarket of 2019 was held on Wednesday. We were fortunate to have great weather, and had a fantastic turnout for the last evening. It has been a great run this year, and we are already planning for next season. You are the heart of the SupperMarket, and we love seeing your familiar faces week after week. Niagara on the Lake is a wonderful community, and we are humbled by your response to the SupperMarket.
