THIS SATURDAY JULY 17th AT FARMERS’ MARKET
We want you to know how wonderful you all are! Our town has certainly rallied behind our little Market, and shown us tremendous support. Every week, we see familiar faces, eager to purchase local produce from farmers and vendors that they know and trust. It has truly been a wonderful thing to witness the relationships that have been built at this grassroots level. And we are working hard for you. It is important for us to be able to provide you with a safe outdoor environment in which you can purchase the bulk of your fresh groceries for the week, and do some gift shopping. Slowly but surely, life is starting to feel more normal. As things open up more and more, please remember to continue to support local. Our small businesses need you! And we love our community, and helping to take care of you all.
The Market always anticipates this time of year; the Niagara harvest is in full swing, with raspberries, cherries, red currants, zucchini, snap peas, beans, potatoes, greens, microgreens, herbs, and so much more now available. Visit our local farmers this Saturday at the Market to stock up on fresh, healthy produce. We also have local honey, maple syrup, jams, compound butter, cheese, farm fresh eggs, baked goods, frozen entrees, and unique gift items for bath, body and home available. We are also welcoming buskers to the Market each Saturday morning. These local musicians work hard to entertain us, and certainly would appreciate it if you tossed some change into their guitar case. The atmosphere of the Market is much more lively because of these talented artists.
We are still receiving inquiries regarding the 2021 SupperMarket season (our Wednesday evening food truck event). For now, our Wednesday evening event is still on hold, and we are throwing our support behind local Niagara on the Lake restaurants who so desperately need your patronage right now. Watch our Facebook and Instagram each Wednesday afternoon for “SupperMarket Dines Out”, featuring one of our NOTL establishments. Consider visiting one of the beautiful patios that have popped up in our lovely town, or dine in as of July 16th, or place a take out order to enjoy from the comfort of your own home patio. Whatever your choice, make the decision to support local small businesses.
Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm until October 9th.
