It is getting far too hot to cook at home, so let our food vendors do it for you,! Relax, grab a refreshment, and take in the band. The first SupperMarket of August, on Wednesday the 3rd features musical entertainment by Cory Cruise, wines from Hare and Strewn, beer from Oast House and Silversmith, local cider from Ironwood, and of course, gourmet food from our food trucks and food vendors. Come early to grab a spot at one of our colourful picnic tables or stand up barrels, or bring your own chairs and picnic blanket. As always, we welcome you to bring your own acrylic wine glass from home, or purchase a reusable GoVino glass for $2. Make note that the region’s Water Wagon will not be in attendance this week, so bring water from home to stay hydrated! There is ample parking in the lot off of Niven Road, or the lot behind the Garrison House.
The Market @ The Village is accepting donations of non-perishable food items for Newark Neighbours at both Wednesday and Saturday events. We are located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. (beside The Garrison House and Refuge Antiques) Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 8th and SupperMarket runs every Wednesday from 4:30 to 9 on until September 21st. Thanks to our generous sponsors, this great community event happens weekly through the summer in Niagara.
