As we prepare to give thanks and spend time with loved ones, the Market @ The Village is thinking about those less fortunate in our community. We will be holding a food drive for Newark Neighbours, our local food bank who does so much for those in need. We be accepting donations of non-perishable foods at our Saturday Market right through till closing day on October 7th. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful community; give back to help those less fortunate.
Your Saturday morning ritual, the Farmers’ Market @ The Village continues for 2 more weeks. This Saturday September 30th, we invite you to join us for farm-fresh breakfast, pastries, coffee and to catch up with old and new friends. Our Market is small, but mighty; we have everything that you look for at a market! Our farmers have their tables overflowing with Niagara goodness; nothing tastes better than farm to table. You will find a wide variety of seasonal fruits & vegetables, freshly baked bread and baked goods, cheeses, eggs, bread, pickles, preserves, jellies, juices, hand tied floral bouquets, and so much more. Sabrina from Tam Tam will be sampling several pie varieties, and taking pre-orders for pie pick up for Thanksgiving weekend.
Mark October 7th on your calendar, and be sure to stop in to the last Farmers’ Market of 2023. You’ll be able to pick up all the fixin’s for your Thanksgiving dinner (and pick up your pre-orderd pies). We have everything from soup to nuts (literally!) Pies and crisps, squash, potatoes, greens, meats, glazes, and gorgeous flowers for the table. Pick up some early Christmas gifts from our vendors. I hear there will be some special Christmas items available on the last Market of the season!
Your Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm until October 7th, located at 111 Garrison Village Dr (in front of the Garrison House Restaurant)
