SupperMarket on Wednesday June 5th is going to be spectacular! With warmer weather sure to be coming our way, guests can look forward to getting outdoors and reconnecting with friends and neighbours. In addition to many favourite returning food vendors, we have a number of new main dish and dessert vendors this season. If you come to every SupperMarket this season, you could have something different every week! Our guests can enjoy music on the Shaw Festival Market Stage by Celtic Cross Duo while dining on creatively delicious foods, prepared by our wonderful vendors. This week’s Junior Musician who will appear at approximately 6pm, is Summer Conrad. Summer has been around music all of her life. Self-taught, she enjoys playing guitar, violin and ukulele but her first love is getting behind the piano and singing. Summer and three friends opened for Brass Transit to kick off the 2017 Welland Concert Series. She has also been a part of many choirs including Tomorrow’s Voices, CNCC and her elementary and high school choirs. Summer has had an active role in The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and Grease productions. She enjoys taking the mic and performing for audiences of all ages and she loves it when they sing along with her! Summer has begun recording and writing her own songs. In four years, she wishes to continue her musical education at Brock University. Let’s welcome her to the stage, and support the SupperMarket’s Junior Musician program.

Pop into the Meridian Credit Union Tent to visit with the farmers and artisans that are set up weekly. We have a rotating list of vendors, so stop by weekly to see what is new. The Niagara on the Lake SupperMarket supports our local food bank Newark Neighbours. We ask that you bring a non-perishable food donation if your children are enjoying the activities in the free Kid’s Zone, which operates weekly from 6-8pm and is sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, and Niagara Nature Tours.
