DON’T MISS OUT ON THE FUN THIS WEDNESDAY!
There are only three more weeks left to go in the SupperMarket season. On Wednesday September 4th, we will be entertained by Tim Atherton, wines from Lakeview & Inniskillin, beer from Oast House and The Exchange, and cider from Ironwood. Our incredibly creative food vendors will have something to please everyone’s palate. Pop your head into the Meridian Credit Union Vendors MarketPlace under the big white tent; you never know what you may find! Our free “Kid’s Zone”, sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, and Niagara Nature Tours will be open from 6-8 pm. When your children partake in the Kid’s Zone activities, be sure to bring a non-perishable food donation for Newark Neighbours. Ample parking for SupperMarket is available in the lot off of Niven Road, and handicapped/senior parking is available in our front parking lot. With only 3 more Wednesday evening events left this season, join us on the 4th to celebrate our community!
FARMERS’ MARKET SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 7TH
With Labour Day a happy memory, and the kids back to school, we can look forward to Niagara’s Autumn bounty at the Saturday Farmers’ Market. There’s still plenty of tender fruit coming along, and veggies to fill your fridge for September meal planning. This Saturday, Brian from Smooth Edge Sharpening will be set up to help with all of your sharpening needs. Grab a coffee and a bite to eat, pull up a seat in the picnic area (sponsored by Allstate Insurance of St. Catharines and NOTL Realty), and spend some time catching up with friends, and listening to some tunes by Buzz Hummer. We look forward to seeing you every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm right through until October 5th
The Market @ The Village is continuing to accept donations of non-perishable food items for Newark Neighbours at both Wednesday SupperMarket and Saturday Farmers’ Market. SupperMarket runs every Wednesday 4:30-9pm until September 18th, and Farmers Market every Saturday 8am-1pm until October 5th. The Market @ The Village appreciates the support of John and Liz Hawley, The Shaw Festival, Meridian Credit Union Virgil, Allstate Insurance St. Catharines, Niagara on the Lake Realty, Wineries of Niagara on the Lake, DF Design Build, and The Town of Niagara on the Lake.
