After a long winter, we are pleased to announce that the beloved Farmers’ Market will open at 8am on Saturday May 29th. We cannot wait to see all of our customers again. More info will be posted on our website and social media over then next couple of weeks.
STUDENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Market @ The Village is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, reliable student to assist with the operation of the Saturday morning Farmers’ Market. This position is 10-16 hours per week, and would involve assisting with set up, operation, and tear down of the Farmers’ Market. The successful candidate would also be assisting in social media and public relations, and other tasks, working from home. Applicants must have reliable transportation, availability of a home computer and internet access, be proficient on social media sites, Microsoft Office, and able to do physical work; some heavy lifting is required. A passion for local food would be an asset. Availability on Saturdays is mandatory.
Applicants must be between the ages of 15-30, and registered as a full-time student, intending on returning to school Fall 2021.
As time is of the essence, we have a short window for the application and interview process. Work will commence on Saturday May 29th.
