This past Saturday at the Market, we hosted the NOTL Writers’ Circle. Eight local authors spent the morning talking with our customers, signing books, and connecting with potential new members. We are working with the Writers’ Circle on future dates for them to attend the Market, and will send out the information once things are finalized.
This Saturday July 23rd, we welcome the voice of Ally Bazley to the Market. The local musicians who spend their Saturday mornings at the Market work hard to entertain us, and certainly would appreciate it if you tossed some change into their guitar case. The atmosphere of the Market is much more lively because of these talented artists.
Plan on bringing your knives, scissors, and garden tools for servicing this Saturday. Brian from Smooth Edge will be on hand from 8am to 1pm. Drop your items off to him, do some shopping, and grab a coffee and some breakfast and listen to Ally play while you wait on your tools to be sharpened.
As for local produce, there is nowhere better than Niagara at this time of the year for fresh fruits and vegetables! Our vendors and farmers have their tables overflowing with local goodness. This coming Saturday look forward to purchasing peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines, raspberries, salad greens, fresh herbs, potatoes, sugar snap peas, green beans, beets, and much, much more. Also available are fresh-baked cookies and desserts, jams, farm fresh eggs, organic maple syrup, local honey, cheese, bath & body products, hand tied floral bouquets, and many gift items. Market is the perfect way to start off your weekend, grab fresh fruit and veggies for the week, flowers for the table, hostess gifts, and a quick breakfast or lunch.
The Market @ The Village Farmers’ Market is an open air, friendly shopping experience. We work hard to ensure that we are providing our customers with a place to access farm to table food. For payment, some of our vendors accept cards, some cash, and some either. We have an ATM onsite for your shopping convenience.
Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm until October 8th, and we are located at 111 Garrison Village Dr (in front of the Garrison House restaurant)
