FARMERS’ MARKET NEWS FOR SATURDAY JULY 28th
Meet up with friends and neighbours this Saturday @ Farmers’ Market. There is nowhere better than Niagara at this time of the year for fresh fruits and vegetables! Look forward to purchasing peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines, raspberries, salad greens, sprouts & microgreens, fresh herbs, potatoes, green beans, beets, and much, much more. Also available, as always are fresh-baked breads, pies and desserts, jams, pickles, juices, Kombucha, freshly ground coffee, granola, maple syrup, honey, gourmet compound butter, and products for your home. Pull up a seat at a picnic table to enjoy breakfast or lunch, and relax to the music of Katey Gatta. Market is a perfect way to start off your weekend, grab fresh fruit and veggies for the week, flowers for the table, breakfast or lunch, and some goodies for entertaining!
SupperMarket NEWS FOR WEDNESDAY AUGUST 1st
It is getting far too hot to cook at home, so let our food vendors do it for you! Relax, grab a refreshment, and take in the band. The first SupperMarket of August, on Wednesday August 1st features the music of the fun-loving PubJugs, wines from Hare & Strewn, beer from Oast House and The Exchange, local cider from Niagara College Teaching Brewery & Cidery, and of course, gourmet food from our incredibly creative food trucks and food vendors. Come early to grab a spot at one of our colourful picnic tables or stand up-barrels, or bring your own chairs and picnic blanket. As always, we welcome you to bring your own acrylic wine glass from home, or purchase a reusable GoVino glass for $2. There is ample parking in the lot off of Niven Road, and parking for the elderly and disabled in the lot in front of the Garrison House. The FREE Kids Zone is open weekly from 6-8pm, and are sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, Niagara Nature Tours.
We are located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. (by the colourful picnic tables across from The Garrison House) Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 6th, and SupperMarket runs every Wednesday from 4:30 to 9pm until September 19th.
