FARMERS’ MARKET NEWS FOR SATURDAY AUGUST 11th
Start your weekend off at Saturday’s Farmers’ Market; we are brimming with peaches, nectarines, berries, lots of green leafy veggies, tomatoes, corn, beets, potatoes, and countless other fruits and vegetables. And what better way to enjoy Niagara’s bounty every day of the year, other than picking up our Niagara jams, jellies, pickles, and preserves to enjoy when the trees are bare, and there is snow on the ground? We have a huge selection available every Saturday! Grab a pastry & coffee, hot breakfast or lunch, pull up a seat at a picnic table, and enjoy the music of local musician Heather Glabb. Take advantage of those lazy hazy days of summer while they are here!
SupperMarket NEWS FOR WEDNESDAY AUGUST 15th
For a lively community event, the Wednesday evening SupperMarket is the place to be! The music on the evening of August 15th is by The Treetops, wines from Lailey & Coyote’s Run, beer from Silversmith and Oast, and cider from Niagara College are sure to quench your thirst. And the food……….with 20+ food vendors and trucks, you will find everything from gourmet burgers and fries to mouthwatering ethnic foods to pulled pork and sweet potato poutine , many vegetarian/vegan options, and absolutely everything in between! A fun evening for the whole family; bring a picnic blanket and chairs, kick back and relax. The FREE (with a non-perishable food donation to Newark Neighbours) Kid’s Zone will be open from 6-8pm, sponsored by DF Design Build, Niagara Inflatables, & Niagara Nature Tours.
We are located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. (by the colourful picnic tables across from The Garrison House) Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 6th, and SupperMarket runs every Wednesday from 4:30 to 9pm until September 19th.
