It finally feels like summer is slowly arriving in Niagara, and strawberries will be making their first appearance this weekend @ The Market. With the cold, wet weather that we have had, many crops are behind this season, and we are still waiting for more farmers to join us on Saturday mornings. Even with the limited local produce available, there are still so many delicious reasons to attend The Farmers’ Market @ The Village this weekend. We will have strawberries, beets, radishes, greens, rhubarb and more! As always, get your fill of baked goods, jams, artisanal butter, granola, and other delicious local items. What better way to usher in the weekend than enjoying a coffee alongside an “Egg Thingy”, listening to some tunes by award-winning musician Cory Cruise, and enjoying the sunshine in the picnic area, which is sponsored by Niagara on the Lake Realty and Allstate Insurance St. Catharines.
