BRING YOUR KNIVES & SCISSORS FOR SHARPENING THIS SATURDAY JULY 18th

At the beginning of this season, with so many unknowns, we simply could not fathom what to expect @ 2020 Farmers’ Market. Our vendors were unsure what customer response would be and how many would attend weekly. Let me tell you; our fears were unfounded.  Our wonderful town has rallied behind our little Market, and shown us tremendous support.  Every week, we see familiar faces, eager to purchase local produce from farmers and vendors that they know and trust.  It has truly been a wonderful thing to witness the relationships that have been built at this grassroots level.  And we are working hard for you.  It is important for us to be able to provide you with a safe outdoor environment in which you can purchase the bulk of your fresh groceries for the week.  We love our community, and helping to take care of you all.

At the Market, we anticipate this time of year; the Niagara harvest is in full swing, with raspberries, cherries, red currants, serviceberries, zucchini, snap peas, beans, potatoes, greens, microgreens, herbs, and so much more now available.  Visit our local farmers this Saturday at the Market to stock up on fresh, healthy produce.  We also have local honey, maple syrup, jams, organic sourdough bread, organic butter, cheese, farm fresh eggs, baked goods, frozen entrees, and unique gift items for bath, body and home available.  And to complete your “one stop shopping” experience, Smooth Edge Sharpening Services will be onsite to sharpen your kitchen knives and scissors, you can pick up bottles of hand sanitizer from local distillery Limited Distilling, and also purchase comfortable, see through face shields.

We are still receiving inquiries regarding the 2020 SupperMarket season (our Wednesday evening food truck event).  We have officially cancelled, and are throwing our support behind local Niagara on the Lake restaurants who so desperately need your patronage right now.   Watch our Facebook and Instagram each Wednesday afternoon for “SupperMarket Dines Out”, featuring one of our NOTL establishments. Consider visiting one of the beautiful patios that have popped up in our lovely town, or place a take out order to enjoy from the comfort of your own home patio. Whatever your choice, make the decision to support local small businesses.

Thanks to our generous sponsors John & Liz Hawley, The Wineries of Niagara on the Lake and Limited Distillery, we are bring you Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm until October 3rd.    111 Garrison Village Dr (in front of the Garrison House restaurant)
