Join us at Niagara’s social event of the week; SupperMarket on Wednesday August 9th is going to be deliciously fun. Enjoy the live music by Buster & Babbles, have a pint from Silversmith or The Exchange; Ironwood will have their delicious local cider, and Marynissen & Small Talk will have the perfect wine to match with your meal. Of course, our gourmet food vendors will be ready to serve their delectable dishes. Mom and Dad can enjoy time socializing with friends while the kids enjoy the FREE (with a non-perishable food donation to Newark Neighbours) “Kids Zone”. As a special treat on August 9th, Last Chance Horse & Pony Rescue will be offering rides to young children for a donation of $5/ride. All proceeds will go directly back to the upkeep of the horse rescue facility. The activities are open weekly from 6-8pm, and are sponsored by Niagara Inflatables, Niagara Nature Tours, and The Market @ The Village. At this week’s nature activity, the kids can learn about all leaves, and make a leaf rubbing.
The Market @ The Village is accepting donations of non-perishable food items for Newark Neighbours at both Wednesday and Saturday events. We are located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. (beside The Garrison House and Refuge Antiques) Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm until October 7th, and SupperMarket runs every Wednesday from 4:30 to 9 pm until September 20th.
