This Wednesday September 13th, we are fortunate to have 809 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets scheduled to be in attendance at the SupperMarket, bringing awareness to their program, and raising funds for their trip to the Vimy Memorial from October 5-15. They will be visiting the Vimy Memorial, and other locations of historical significance. The cadets will have a tent set up, providing information on both the program and how to donate for the Vimy trip. The cadets will also perform their drill routine a couple of times throughout the evening. Show your support for our community, and this outstanding program for Niagara on the Lake’s youth.
The last SupperMarket of 2017 will be held on Wednesday September 20th ; only two more weeks to go, so squeeze every last bit out of Niagara on the Lake’s weekly social event! It has been an incredible season, with fantastic food, drink, entertainment, and a sense of community. This coming Wednesday September 13th, all of your favourite food vendors will be in attendance, offering up their best dishes, wines from Lakeview Wine Co, and Reif Winery, beer from Oast House and The Exchange, cider from Ironwood., and musical entertainment by local artist Tim Atherton. And as always, the free “Kid’s Zone” will be open from6-8pm. The kids can learn how to draw an owl at this week’s nature activity. Join us!
The Market @ The Village is continuing to collect non-perishable food items for Newark Neighbours. Donations can be dropped off on both Saturdays and Wednesdays, 111 Garrison Village Dr., across from The Garrison House and Refuge Antiques.
