Well, last Saturday certainly was a windy one! Thank you to our customers who came out to show their support, and to our amazing vendors who braved the winds. Fingers crossed to a calmer day this week.
Nothing tastes better than Local! At this time of year in Niagara, we are enjoying local rhubarb, asparagus, kale, lettuce, chard, microgreens, beets, and radishes for the early crops. As the season progresses, more farmers are joining us as at The Market @ The Village. Bright and early every Saturday, we have farm-fresh eggs, jams and preserves, local honey, hand-tied floral bouquets, fresh-baked pastries and pies, gourmet cheese, take home meal options, charcuterie boxes, soups, and delicious breakfast and lunch options to enjoy while taking a seat in our brightly coloured picnic area.
Support local by shopping at our Farmers’ Market! We provide an open air, relaxed, friendly place for you to do much of your weekly shopping. We work hard to exceed your expectations. Shoppers are welcome to and encouraged to bring their own reusable bags. When you purchase from The Market @ The Village, you are supporting a local farmer, producer, and your own community. The Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday morning from 8 am to 1 pm until October 8th, located at 111 Garrison Village Dr. NOTL (in front of the Garrison House Restaurant)
