This Saturday, join us for our Tomato Festival @ The Market. We have a fun tomato-themed day planned, featuring tomato-based foods, and tomato inspired items available from our vendors. After sampling delicious locally grown tomatoes, you can you can vote on your favourite tomato variety for a chance to win a wonderful gift basket with items generously donated by our vendors. Sampling will be open from 8am-11am, with draw happening at 11. The ”Tomato Toss” will be held from 11-11:30, and the Tomato Shotput 12-12:30. No need to pre-register; just show up to join in the fun. We are looking forward to an even bigger event in 2024.
It is hard to believe that this is the second last weekend before the kids head back to school. But Niagara fruits and veggies are still “growing strong” and the Farmers’ Market will be open right through until October 7th this year to ensure that local goodness is available to all for Thanksgiving! Our farmers tables are colourful with the bounty of the season, and our vendors have items to compliment the Niagara freshness. Pick up local eggs, honey, maple syrup, jams & jellies, cheese, and other items to make your meal-planning complete. We also offer wonderful products for home and garden, gift items, and bath products. By supporting Farmers’ Market, you are supporting local agriculture and local small businesses.
